Samsung Electronics has made a significant announcement on January 17, 2023, introducing the ISOCELL HP2, a cutting-edge 200 million pixel CMOS sensor. Measuring an impressive 1/1.3 inch, this high-resolution sensor boasts a pixel density of 0.6μm, promising an unparalleled ultra-high-definition experience for premium smartphones.


The standout feature of the HP2 lies in Samsung's Tetrapixel technology. By intelligently merging pixels, HP2 adjusts to varying lighting conditions, enhancing its versatility. In low-light scenarios, it merges 4 to 16 adjacent pixels, transforming the sensor into either a 1.2μm 5000万像素 or a 2.4μm 1250万像素 sensor, ensuring optimal image quality.
